Difference between Field and Target 391's

    No difference what so ever.

    Only difference is the stock.

    The comb is parallel to the rib on a target gun and the stock "slopes" a bit toward the rear on a field gun to create a flat shooter.

    All the iron is the same.

    The stock on the target models is slightly larger with different dimensions (less drop). All hunting models either use mobile chokes or Optima +. Target 391's are Optima choked. And...no...none of the chokes are interchangeable. Both will cycle lighter loads.

    Significantly narrower rib on the field guns as well.
