Let's enjoy the show... and pray she doesn't run. The last thing we need is to further dilute the current field of Republican lightweights. Unless a serious/qualified Republican candidate rises up in the next few weeks it's likely going to be impossible to raise enough money to defeat the Community Organizer. At that point our ony hope will be that he somehow self-destructs.

If the Republicans use their heads they have a lot of ammo to use in ads against O. He has screwed up so much the Reubs have to bring this stuff up and keep hitting hard with it. O makes himself look bad. They don't need as much money if they use well placed ads and well timed anti O ads. Bulge.

I like what you're saying. But don't kid yourself -- it's all about money, and Obama's war chest will eclipse anything we've ever seen before (including his record from 2008).

That's why, like never before, the Republicans desperately need a serious, qualified candidate who can think/speak on his feet. And one with no skeletons in his closet.

For the umpteenth time I will remind everyone that AMERICAN WOMEN, IN GENERAL, ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT TOLERATE AN ATTRACTIVE FEMALE PRESIDENT. PERIOD.

That's a FACT, not an opinion. Do some research.

So, unfortunately, hoping that Palin (whom I like a LOT, by the way) wins the Republican nomination is to hope for another 4 years of Socialist Community Organizer.

Palin served her purpose in helping the Tea Party drag the Republicans a few inches back toward conservatism, but now she is a huge potential liability if she runs for President. At the least, she's a distraction for the already misguided Republican Party. At the worst, she wins their nomination and inevitably gets shot down by the women voters (especially those who are college educated -- Palin would be lucky to get 25% of their votes).

PLEASE put some thought into this and do some research before supporting Palin.

    Respectfully,

    Gary

She is a loser. Does anyone really think she could beat Obama? She couldn't even finish her stint a Governor of Alaska. She is just pulling in the loot, riding the gravy train for the time being.

Its to bad we don't vote for the "Country" any more!!

We stick to party loyalties and how educated we think they are! I personally haven't met to many college grads that are in the overly brite department.

Palin was the only runner under the Republican ticket that didn't belong to the CFR, which in order to be a member, you have to believe in a "One" world order!

She gets my Vote, at least she still believes in America!

Timberfaller: It's not YOUR vote (or mine) that we're worried about. It's the middle 20% that we need to convince (and all of the women voters if we nominate an attractive female).

If we don't nominate someone who can win-over those people then our vote goes down the crapper.

    Get it?

Personally, I don't think Jesus Christ could beat Obama in the next election!

Evidently Dr. Walter williams dowsn't think so, either. DR. WILLIAMS predicts that Obama can not lose the 2012 election.

IN ADDITION TO THE VOTING BLOCKS HE MENTIONS, THERE IS ANOTHER HUGE GROUP: THE NEARLY ONE-HALF OF ALL ADULTS DO NOT PAY ANY TAXES AND, IN FACT, MOST OF THEM RECEIVE MONEY FROM THE GOVERNMENT. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO "SHAKE THE BOAT" TO DO ANYTHING TO STOP THE FLOW OF TAXPAYER MONEY TO THEMSELVES.

    No Matter What

    By Dr. Walter Williams

Can President Obama be defeated in 2012? No. He can't. I am going on record as saying that President Barak Obama will win a second term.

The media won't tell you this because a good election campaign means hundreds of millions (or in Obama's case billions) of dollars to them in advertising.

But the truth is, there simply are no conditions under which Barak Obama can be defeated in 2012.

The quality of the Republican candidate doesn't matter. Obama gets reelected. Nine percent unemployment? No problem. Obama will win. Gas pricesmoving toward five dollars a gallon? He still wins. The economy soars or goes into the gutter. Obama wins. War in the Middle East? He wins a second term.

America's role as the leading Superpower disappears? Hurrah for Barak Obama! The U.S. government rushes toward bankruptcy, the dollar continues to sink on world markets and the price of daily goods and services soars due to inflation fueled by Obama's extraordinary deficit spending? Obama wins handily.

You are crazy Williams. Don't you understand how volatile politics can be when overall economic, government, and world conditions are declining? Sure I do.

And that's why I know Obama will win. The American people are notoriously ignorant of economics. And economics is the key to why Obama should be defeated.

Even when Obama's policies lead the nation to final ruin, the majority of the American people are going to believe the bait-and-switch tactics Obama and his supporters in the media will use to explain why it isn't his fault. After all, things were much worse than understood when he took office.

Obama's reelection is really a very, very simple math problem. Consider the following:

    1) Blacks will vote for Obama blindly. Period. Doesn't matter what he does. It's a race thing. He's one of us,

    2) College educated women will vote for Obama. Though they will be offended by this, they swoon at his oratory. It's really not more complex than that,

    3) Liberals will vote for Obama. He is their great hope,

    4) Democrats will vote for Obama. He is the leader of their party and his coat tails will carry them to victory nationwide,

    5) Hispanics will vote for Obama. He is the path to citizenship for those who are illegal and Hispanic leaders recognize the political clout they carry in the Democratic Party,

    6) Union members will vote overwhelmingly for Obama. He is their key to money and power in business, state and local politics,

    7) Big Business will support Obama. They already have. He has almost $1 Billion dollars in his reelection purse gained largely from his connections with Big Business and is gaining more everyday. Big Business loves Obama because he gives them access to taxpayer money so long as they support his social and political agenda,

    8) The media love him. They may attack the people who work for him, but they love him. After all, to not love him would be racist,

    9) Most other minorities and special interest groups will vote for him. Oddly, the overwhelming majority of Jews and Muslims will support him because they won't vote Republican. American Indians will support him. Obviously homosexuals tend to vote Democratic. And lastly,

    10) Approximately half of independents will vote for Obama. And he doesn't need anywhere near that number because he has all of the groups previously mentioned. The President will win an overwhelming victory in 2012.

I'm dismayed at two things about Palin.

She quit when the going got tough.

And she jacked up taxes on businesses.

I don't mind seeing Sarah. It's her voice that's like fingernails on a chalkboard.

Anyone who thinks she's a viable candidate better get smart in a hurry. She is the ultimate polarizer.

Palin knows about foreign policy because she see Russia from her front porch LMAO Now she makes herself out to be a supporter of veterans. Yeah, all of a sudden she gets on the bandwagon huh? Another wannabe. Kick her to the curb.

I heard she is buying a house in Arizona....does that now make her an expert on illegal immigration and Mexican cartel violence? I bet she thinks so, doh!!!!

Sernv99: I know you get a big kick out of being the resident liberal and piling-on about Palin, but have you ever really thought about your political viewpoints and the negative effects that liberal policies have had on our country lately? Seriously. Do you have kids or grandkids? Aren't you concerned?

    Sincerely,

    Gary

I and my wife would both vote for Palin. My wife has had it with how the black card got us this looser. If you think his color didn't have something to do with it, your on another planet. I'm not a racist, i'm a realist.

My wife's words, "let's let the woman try it now". I honestly don't see how it could be worse than the sh!t we have now. At least i wouldn't be thinking it may be my last years hunting. I don't know..............

    Gary,

I don't support someone who hides behind facebook to rant and rave about what's going in this country. Any average Joe/Jane Blow could do that. Voting for someone who is pro-gun but an idiot on everything else is a waste. So far, all I see is whining and bitching from her. She fails as a leader and wouldn't make it commanding our military. Take the tin foil hat off.

    Matt:

Believe me when I tell you... your wife is in a small minority.

I've researched the subject on the broad base, and tested my hypothesis on the local base. I've also won four separate bets on the subject. Most recently, I bet a friend he could pick any 8 female coworkers he wanted and at least 6 of them would say they would NOT vote for Palin. He chose his 8 "Obama Hater" / "conservative" women and then we asked them the simple question:

If Palin runs on the top of the Republican ticket in 2012, will you vote for her or Obama?

    Obama: 6

    Just wouldn't vote: 2

    Palin: 0

American women, in general, will not vote for a woman to be President -- especially if she's attractive. PERIOD. Do your own testing and you will see. You should know the women you ask though, so that they'll be honest with you. In any case, this isn't just MY theory. The phenomenon has been written about in national publications.

Gary--I haven't done any research but any anti-Oblamba voters that would turn around and vote for him need their heads examined. I do understand what your saying about American women in general though. I honestly think most of them that wouldn't accept her are not secure in their marriage. They have some misbelief their husband would leave 'em or something. Like Sarah is gonna steal bubba from them. LOL
