    .

Dicksie Spolar was seriously injured a few days ago in an accident when motorcyclists overtook her while she was horseback riding in the mountains.

The motorcyclists did not stop to render assistance.

    Her family later found her.

Dicksie has several fractures in both legs.

She will be in recovery for many months.

We all should wish Dicksie a healthy recovery and offer our prayers to her and her family.

She may or may not be checking this site or answering emails on any given day as she recovers.

I hope the cyclist gets his karma one day. Not stopping to offer assistance could be mansluaghter? What a D-bag. Karma will catch up someday.

This is quite upsetting. I have an mid-three digit serial number Spolar and have been in contact with them...with Dicksie...a number of times. I believe the Spolars are as fine of people as I have ever done business with and I'm aghast that she suffered such injuries.... and induced by what seems to be rather callous and uncaring people.

My most feverent wishes and prayers for her speedy recovery and return to an active and particpating life with her family.

I now horses don't like motorcycles, especially one with 2-cycles engines.

That's too bad, Dicksie used to be one of the highlights of the Grand (likely still is).

    Get well quickly Dicksie!!

Another good reason never to venture out alone. The outcome could have been much worse.

This is awful. Although I don't know the Spolars personally, they have always been outgoing and supportive when I've seen them at Redlands..been years since I've observed them there. I feel double bad; heck, I like motorcycles and trapshooting and horses. Such a shame. Dixie, get well soon and best wishes.

Hammer1 I am assuming the motorcycle spooked the horse and she was thrown off?

    Get well Dicksie.
