Dick’s just does not interest me anymore.

I have given up on the big box stores for most shooting (and fishing) related items. It is often less expensive to order on line, pay freight and has-mat fees, and get what I want delivered to my door.

Every now and then, I will drive to Gamaliel with my wife (road trip for Federal shells) and buy what I need. We also have a local gun club that sells components and will order most of what I need.

The old Dicks did but once they went nationwide stopped selling same at most if not all stores. I think it was in the mid or late 90's.

I happened to be in Rochester NY when the store (old location) was having a sale to get rid of what they had on hand and purchased 15 - 20 bags of lead.

I agree with school_teacher. With the exception of shot, I buy everything on line, from whoever has the best deal on what I'm looking for. Even new cars, which I have bought on line. Great deals.
