I don't know why, but it seems that everytime I respond to a thread, I am almost always the last responder. I am not the type of person who has to have the last word in a discussion. Maybe I get into a thread at or near the end for the interest in it. Any advice for coping with this problem? Biff

A glass of an Amador Zinfandel might help Biff. May I recommend Dobra Zemelja, 2002...Bob Dodd

Get up earlier in the morning,,,,,or attack the subject at hand from a differant angle than what is presented,,,and bring the discussion too a differant level.........

    Some folks are just thread-killers.
    Accept it.

I seem to have the same problem. I think what you need to do is end your post with:

a comment suggesting impending disaster: "well, I'm going to try a double charge of powder and see if that breaks the target better."

a question that will elicit many opinions: " Is a Seitz better than a Ljutic?"

    an insult of any kind.

Having said that, I hope I don't get left hanging out to dry here.

This complex started when as a child I learned to be very competitive resulting from the game,"Last one is a rotten egg!"

Otnot I also got a complex about my age when I was 55, people would always say I didn't look a day over 85!

    Lumper you OK?

So...I just got back from the IT guy's office with a new mouse after the other one whipped of the side of the desk, bounced off the inkjet, hit the arm of a guest chair, smacked the subwoofer and cracked a tile in the floor.

Cleaning the pads on your mouse is not such a good idea after all.

Geez, guys...you screwed this ALL UP.

It would have been hilarious if no one had posted below his original post.

Biff, I've noticed that sometimes that happens to me. What I think is that you think what you've added to the discussion is so deep and thoughtful that at least 100 other posters should come in and say that below what you've added.

I often check to see who's added what after I've posted. Usually I'm disapointed.

So Jeff, it is as I expected. You all get together after I make a profound post and conspire not to respond making mine the last post. I just knew this all along and you just broke the vow of silence and made me aware, so from now on I won't be the last to post on here! Biff
