And the reason why is because they are the recipients of all the give-away programs. They also need not get highly educated and analytical to see where their government support comes from. Remember the whining and complaints of those in the flood of New Orleans and lack thereof from those in the more recent floods of NE Missouri. Make no mistake, I'm talking about those in poverty not any single race.....breakemall....Bob Dodd

It's really ironic that Bush comes up with the No Child Left Behind plan to help make schools better, and the liberals and NEA whine that it failed because there was no money given to them by the feds for it. Excuse me? Money is not the answer. It's the quality of the school system. If the local educators are not competent enough to implement NCLB, and cannot effectively run their schools without crying for more and more money, then they need to resign. All you have to do is look at those schools that have embraced non-traditional methods to find the real solutions. Joe Clark did it on a limited budget. The Oregon Youth Challenge Program does it every year, being the ONLY public school in Oregon to meet 100% of the NCLB criteria. Many private schools meet this criteria as well.

"Miller and Mr. Water hazard Kennedy co-authored this legislation"

That is interesting. The liberals, especially the deleted 2str8, perpetually blamed Bush for it. All along it was a liberal concoction. Should have known better than to believe the liberal version of anything.

Ah, the public schools, what a waste. For the good of the country they should be shut down, doors padlocked, windows boarded up. Parents you are on your own, when it comes to educating your child. You will do a better job than the government.

I will not vote for any politician who says he or she is a strong supporter of public education.

You guys have this ALL wrong.

You can TRUST the demokrats. You can believe ANYTHING they tell you.

"I DID NOT HAVE SEXUAL RELATIONS WITH THAT WOMEN"

And if this "psychopath" could have run again,

THEY WOULD HAVE VOTED FOR HIM!

    Now that is SICK.

Current programs have put many people in the situation where there is no financial incentive in the short term to get that entry level job. And with out stepping up to that first rung on the ladder higher levels are unatainable.

These people have made their choice. They prefer government handouts and poverty to having to work and be responsible for a family.
