House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has had little success in getting rank-and-file congressmen to contribute to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

The congressmen are assessed dues by the DCCC, which they pay out of their campaign funds, based on seniority and campaign assignments. But as of June 30, about one-third of the Democratic caucus – 64 congressmen – hadn’t given a lick, according to a party document obtained by Politico. That reluctance comes despite Pelosi's plea last month for donations.

Money matters a great deal as Democrats seek to regain control of the House and maintain control of the Senate. But in June, Republican congressmen gave almost $6.4 million to the National

In the interest of full disclosure what you posted is a paraphrased version of a comment made by British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher in 1976. Nicknamed the Iron Lady, Thatcher was not to be trifled with lightly.

You're probably aware "The Iron Lady" (a movie based on Thatcher) was released earlier this year. Ironically, the movie was distributed by the Weinstein Company whose co-founder is Harvey Weinstein. If that name rings a bell it is probably because Weinstein co-chaired an obummer fund raiser yesterday. For a mere $35,800 a ticket, all of us ts.commers could have gone, LOL.

Isn't it interesting that someone unfit to carry Thatcher's shoes made money off of her story. Perhaps that's because none of Weinstein's socialist political heroes are interesting enough to have a movie made about them.
