1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Colt Gold Cup 45 ACP National Match Series 80 Colt MK IV. Stainless Steel, 5" barrel, bought new in the eighties. Test fired five times and put away as a collectors item. Brand New condition $1899.00 post paid. If you have been wanting to own a brand new Gold Cup Made by Colt here here is a "very rare" opportunity. PH. 406-366-0063

NOT a collector item, Sorry. Not wanting to hurt your feeling.

The 70 series are the ones shooters are after.

Collectors only want the "rare" ones

Here we go again! This kind of over valued pricing ticks me off! It's just Another try to find some poor schlep that will allow himself to be screwed to the wall for a price that is more than double the actual value on this .45.

It makes you wonder where he is getting his info from for the value of this $800 pistol. I sure as hell isn't $1900!!! For that matter, I'll sell anyone a brand new in the box Gold Cup for a $1000 plus shipping!

This guy just won't go away. Perhaps he would like to post his real name or better yet take that shop worn item to Gun Broker. Mike

It seems like the price goes up another $100 with every new thread. Someone better jump on this one, it'll be $2500 by next week... LOL

Bought a 100th Anniversary Colt (built in 2011) stainless SERIES 70 1911A1 Sunday for $850. It had been shot 100 rounds (2 boxes). It is in new (not scratched) condition, in it's factory box.

That gun is collectable! It's the only one that has its particular serial numbers...

Next time around the scratches may become "custom engraving accents".

I think he's just yanking our chain putting that same post up every couple days. David should pull it off the forum, but that's his decision, not ours.

I would rather have the Combat NCO, 400yd accuracy with a 1911 is unsurpassed. Plus you get 600yd suppressing fire.
