Did anyone see the news story about the high school senior at this graduation ceremony that refused to obey school authorities who had outlawed prayer of any kind in school? He recited the Lords Prayer to the sounds of a cheering crowd. This is the type of courage and defiance that makes me think America can be saved. Don't know this young mans name or which state he was in but I would like to shake his hand. AMEN! ed nichols

    rpeerless,

No, the total lack of interest, involvement, reaction, or ANYTHING from the faculty/staff sitting behind him on the stage says it all...

The school is Pickens County High School, South Carolina.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation headquartered in Madison Wisconsin has already responded with a threatened lawsuit. According to them the "valedictorian inflicted Christian prayer on a captive audience". First time I ever heard that prayer can be "inflicted". The FFRF is blaming the school board for establishing a culture which encourages prayer. WOW.
