About every two years a Decot lens of mine will form a crack in a straight line at a notch. Has anyone else had this problem with Decot's?

Sorry, I have been shooting with Decot's since 1992. I have had about 10
different set of lenses and no cracks. I'll bet Decot would stand behind their lenses.

I've had the same set of lenses since 1994....no problem!

The only problem encountered was with the frames. I called and was advised to send the frames to them for repair. Problem was corrected in an expedious manner and at no cost!

I've had Decot's for 30+ years. No problems, what so ever.

I can tell you why you have cracks. When you put a diff lens in the frames you let the frame snap in to place. You don't let the frame go on slowly and softly. I was told to never snap the frames on to the lens because they will start to crack. I have had my decots for 7 years and they are just like as if I just bought them.

Not once and I still have a set of screw in lenses that my Dad used to use. I have had such excellent service from them that I don't really care if something better comes along. I'll still shoot Decots.

Since before Bud Decot had his own shop. I had B & L "Decots" which did not have interchangable lenses. I have had Decots since the company formed. Always excellent product and service. Jake
