I have a 14 yr old son who has been shooting for 2 years now. Would a set of good shooting glasses be a good investment at this time for him? I looked at the Decot Hy-Wyd Sport Glasses at the Nebraska state shoot. He was worried about the price and if he scratched them and I was wondering what color. Any thoughts?

I bought my Decots in 1983 and outside of several lens changes, they are going strong. Take care of them and they will last. Good investment!

Decot lenses without perscriptions are very reasonable in price should he scratch them.

Shooting glasses providers do a great job in recommending colors. This is a very subjective choice as we all have differing results with the various colors. I recommend avoiding too many colors, 2-3 max should be all you need.
