Picked up a Ljutic " One Touch " last year and was very happy I did ,but early spring I picked up a used KS-5 in very good condition and only needed the checkering re-pointed and just got to shoot it for the first time today and ran 50 with it and I was very impressed with the gun and how I shot it . Now what do I do,which gun I try to work at? Any help ?

Keep shooting the KS-5 and if you miss a target, sell it. HMB

Where you shoot who will work on the gun you have. If you don't have someone to service the gun at shoots your in trouble. I don't know of any shoot that there wasn't someone who worked on K-guns.

The Ljutic won't need to be serviced every year...

New gun, good shooter, first time shot = good score (always, it seems). Your scores may drop a it down the road...

I would shoot the Ljutic. It will always be there mechanically above the K-gun for repairs. A little PM and the Ljutic keeps on going. K-Hun is a good shotgun, no doubt. But it's NOT a Ljutic...Cya

I own both of them. Ljutics are great trouble free guns.

Ljutics are a bit slow for Doubles. Krieghoffs are much faster!!

I own both the Ljutic monogun and the KX-5. I shoot them equally the same. The Ljutic has had so many shells put through it that I actually need to send it to Jimmy and have him do a rebuild on it this coming winter. For my KX-5, it has taken me a while to dial it in (with the adjustable rib) but it is a very good gun as well. It just kicks more than the Ljutic and isn't quite as heavy.

If I had to pick all over again, my first choice would be a Ljutic.

I don't own either, but I have mounted my friends Ljutic and it is well balanced and I would be very happy to own one just like it.

KS5 is not Krieghoff's top line gun. Go with the Ljutic. Allen

I own a K-80 O/U & LTX & a Bi-Gun( which is for sale cheap for you Ljutic nuts out there. Health reasons.) I have also shot numerious KX's & KS's. The 34" LTX factory specs, liteweight bbl, blows away any single bbl K-gun. Gotta stay with a lighter LTX. And I would take the Bi-Gun over the K-O/U. And yes,I love my Perazzis too,I only have 9 of those. TMX is the best. Tom
