I think I need to smooth or deburr my gas ports where the o-ring sits on my 11-87. Ive gone through one in the first 1500 rnds and noticed the new one has scrapes where it sits against the gas ports. Ive run my finger across them and they are kinda sharp. What would be the best way to smooth this area out?

Just use some 400 grit paper on a dowel or your finger. Remember the o-ring seals in front of the port holes.

    Hope this helps
