Can't go wrong with any Single Barrel. I do love the 1792 and Rare Breed is a very nice one.

bourbon is in season all year long. blantons gets my vote for the high dollar bottle. but jim beam in the black labeled bottle is good for the money

bourbon is only meant to be drank on days that end in 'y'

Woodford, Knob Creek or Beam from me (some days call for Evan Williams), but I haven't met a whiskey from KY that has steered me wrong :)

If y0u haven't tried Knob Creek Reserve (not the regular Knob Creek) please do. If you like Booker's or Wild Turkey Reserve, try this. Yes, the alcohol is quite high; on the other hand, it isn't diluted with water. This is a true uniquely American product. Bourbon at its best!!

Coldest night of the season so far and first real rain here on the west. I had to grab a nice glass and a great sippin whiskey for the cool night... Like this Blantons single and Can't go wrong with the Rare Breed...

Nothing wrong with a three fingers of Crown on the rocks, the black reserve tastes more like bourbon.

I have quite a collection of those blue bags it's sold in!
