1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

This rifle was built for me. I hate to sell it but it's time to thin the herd. This is a Commercial 98 belgium Mauser. The barrel is 26 inches long, stainless steel and octogon contoured. The barrel shoots less then 1 inch groups.

The stock is maple ( Some call it Tiger maple for the consistant lines) and has a shadow line cheek piece as well as a steel butt cap. If you look at the close up picture of the back of the bolt you are looking at a custom bolt shroud and a model 70 swinging style safety. As I recall that little bit of work was near 500.00 alone.

On the bolt side you see the butter handle bolt that is contoured. Some of you will remeber what rifles like this cost to build and others will think it's crazy but there was a time when a gun that shot an inch grpup and was a thing of beauty as well was a coveted item. I am selling it for far less then the cost of production.

The bluing on this gun was done by a man who was a legend. You can't see it in these pictures but it is just incrdible. The gun turns everybodys head who sees it. The bluing was done by the late Larry Brace who was a founding member of the gunmakers guild and a very famous custom rifle smith. I will entertain trades but would prefer to sell or maybe a mixture of cash and a gun.

I always like remington 1100 28ga guns as well as SP-10 Remington shotguns.

Did I miss where you told us who built the gun? I'll go back and look again.

SuperXJeff, If you paid $500 for the Model 70 style safety (yours is either on or off)you got ripped. A complete new shroud with Model 70 3-position safety is about $125. The bolt handle another $175. But a really nice looking rifle. Too bad it isn't checkered.
