Ancient History. There are no guns on a ship anymore available to the passengers. Just ask the pirates off the east African Coast.

Actually the shooting stopped not because of any preceived "danger" but because your eco-terrorists felt it was poluting the ocean (never mind the tons of lead fishing weights at the bottom of the sea)...

Anyone remember Princess Cruises caught dumping garbage off the side of their ship or Royal Caribbean dumping oily bilge water off of Alaska? (Side Note: both companies did not condone this activity, it was couple of bad apples that ruined it for everyone) These were the reasons why there is no more trap shooting on the ships.

One brightside, Markham's kids program obtained several 870's from Carnival...

Some years back, one of the Grat Lakes cargo ships bought a Remington 4100 trap, some shotguns, and a P-W loader for the crew to use.

I only know from the shop owner, never heard of it otherwise,.

It's a farce. Ten bucks for five shots, twenty guage Mossberg pump field gun. Broke five for five & got a bottle of champagne. Top score of the afternoon. Tells you all about the competition. About ten years back!!

Big Jack: Ten bucks for shells and targets any you win a bottle of champagne! Heck, Im impressed. Thats a better return than most of us get on most Sundays at our local club.

I failed to mention, that was the only prize for about forty shooters. And most of them were pretty well beered up by the time they shot. You never got to handle shells. You held the gun, they dropped the shell in the port, you closed it & called. They were on either side of you to make sure you didn't turn around with the gun. I had looked foreward to shooting some trap, like I said, it's a farce. I can see why it's no longer available.

Crysophylos hit dead-on. International laws about discharging pollutants into water. Similar US laws applied to the US Navy firing on Vieques, PR.

The trap on Cruise ships is the "SeaPass" Card you have to use. No cash, just put it on the sea pass.

Its real easy to juice it up when you don't use cash on the boat.

Ken... did you buddy lose the bet??? He won so why would he have to clean their drunk asses?
