Leave it to the atheists to insult the fiber on which this country was built and to dishonor the Native spirit.

Athesistic ignorance is living in the box of uncreative, bland information they try to get out of.

Creation stories were here before the arrival of the first immigrants. What is amazing are the similar threads that run through the stories even though the stories are from different locations of the Country and Canada, and there are parallels to other beliefs.
Also, cave drawings from locations all over the world and the US have been found to contain similar characters and themes. Many, many years ago, I met an elderly woman whose life's work was travel and study of these cave drawings.

Western civilization is being transformed into a new kind of "civilization" that contains no references to the God of creation.

Diversity, Tolerance, Freedom to Believe, are allowed EXCEPT when it comes Believing in Christ is the Son of God(Creator) and HE died to reconcile us back into fellowship with God.

Then, Diversity, Tolerance, Freedom to Believe, ALL go out the window!!

Just check out the "actions" of the ACLU and Public Schools and "kids" groups!

People want to believe in a "passive" Christ, but just read Matt.10:34
    and Luke 12:51

What's the White House got to do with the petition? It's _to_ the White House, isn't it? Shouldn't both the article and the poster been more careful about that?

Consider what you guys would do if the Times reported "Boehner petition urges approval of same-sex marriage."

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/ I can understand the confusion, the petition appears on the White House web site. It even has the White House seal in the header. Since the petition site is a new venue prompted by the White House, and made available to apparently just about anyone, to start any petition for Zero's attention.

Like all this administration does it's designed to be corrupted and manipulated. Another sad state of affairs, whether it eventually carries any weight, or not.

And, personally, I would be equally disgusted with a Boehner web site set up in such a scandalous manner.

Not only that Neil, look at the picture included in the posted link, of Obama in a class room pointing at a kid. It's a deliberate attempt to confuse and link Obama to the petition.

OK, Kipling, but the fact that it is on the White House site does not mean that it has White House support, or really has anything to do with the White House at all and the person who wrote the article should have both known that and made it clear.

There is a White House Petition on that site named "We demand President Obama resign*." And 106 more of varying craziness. If you scan through them, you will agree that most cannot remotely be called "White House petitions."

Didn't get why creationism was being attacked. Every native group world wide has creation stories.
I do however believe the attacking group has it's aim at Christianity and now with the latest reports perhaps the Catholic Church and is going through the White House outlet to stir up support.

In my opinion petitions that aren't attached to a recall or some specific end like that are a colossal waste of time. No one in government has a sense of shame any more and petitions depend on politicians actually caring what we think. Except with respect to getting reelected no modern politician cares what we think or what we want.
