I have a GraCoil recoil reduction system + adj length of pull to install on a KX-5. According to the directions the cylinder hole is to be 1 1/16 X 2 1/4 deep. I am having a hard time finding a 1/1/16 bit and wonder if it is O.K. to drill it 1 1/8? This is my first installation of this system. I have done adj. combs, recoil pads and other gunsmithing for a long time, but shyed away from this. Thanks George

Thanks Ed, But this is probably the only one I'll install. There is plenty of wood to drill. So as of now I'll drill it 1 1/8 It think it has to be fairly loose so you can adj. the length of pull easily. George

You can wrap a premium tape around the unit prior to putting it in the stock. Enough tape will snug up the fit.
