I just noticed these cracks in the forearm of my Ljutic mono gun. Can this be fixed?

Mine did almost the exact same thing. Tom Larkin who works on stocks, did not think it would matter but he did insert some real thin epoxy glue into the cracks.

    Frostyman,

Does your forearm have the two metal pins show near the crack in the picture? I'm wondering if this is from the factory or part of a previous repair.

Pins are factory. My Pro 3 LTX has pins, my older Mono Gun does not. If epoxy can penetrate full depth into the cracks forarm will be stronger than new. Cracks were caused by an over tightening of allen bolt. Marc

I would post a thread on this forum and title it WTB Ljutic forearm. Forget the cracked one and replace it.

Go to woodworker.com They have a glue called chair doctor. It's for old wood chair legs that have gotten loose. It penetrates into the crack.
