Say it isn't so. The last discussion I heard regarding Palin sounded like the city folk (women) didn't think Sarah was 'metropolitan' enough to run for President. Some make Palin sound like a country bumpkin that pursues politics in her spare time when she's not running home decorating parties or selling cosmetics.
Personally I think when Sarah was running as VP with McCain she presented herself well and intelligently and certainly did not come off solely as a country bumpkin. Sarah is competitive enough IMHO to 'duel' with the 'city slickers' over issues that effect our Country.
And 'girls' if you think surviving in the city is the measure for a Presidential run, go try surviving in Alaska country wilderness where the animals are four-legged. You might find respect for other than 'metro' and thousand dollar shoes.
Besides, country bumpkin is as American as apple pie and our 'Founding Fathers' would have probably been proud to be called 'country bumpkins' as long as they were Free and Independent country bumpkins...

Clearly we need to consider all options in order to get Our Great Country going in the right (think of a number line -+) direction. While we have some great candidates we still need more. No one has talked guns to any extent yet.

And I forgot to mention that poll results cited that 74% of Republicans did not want Sarah to run. Say it isn't so.

I like Sarah Palin, I even bought her book, voted for her and McCain but I think it's how she says what she says that's killing her. She needs (needed) to stop being a perky cheerleader and really get down to business. Too late now.

I'd rather a "perky cheerleader" that can motivate her team to win over 'lurky dismal' telling us we're gonna lose(and I mean everything) by helping to give the Country and her assets away..

You misunderstand --- I like Palin but she has no chance of winning the election. GOP has to get a candidate up there that can get Obama out of there before he can do more damage.

Women really don't like other women, especially if they are smarter and better looking....and wimpy men can't stand strong, intelligent women.

Sarah Palin could never come close to winning POTUS. The pukes foam at the mouth in rage every time they see her. For the life of me I don't know what it is except the fact that she is a real woman, not some New York apartment decoration with political ambition.

The horrendous attacks of the last election showed how progressives will abandon their fake "equality" standards when they feel threatened.

I hope she just keeps on stirring the pot all around the country.

But why do they hate her so much? What has she done or said to engender such animosity? Her history of accomplishments is quite impressive. So why the hatred - and from whom does it come?

Liberals and women hate her because she had the "audacity" to raise her special needs child and did not force her young pregnant daughter to have an abortion as well.
Some conservative think she is not well rounded enough in the ways of Washington, but to me that is a plus, rather than a minus.
The people that occupy both coasts for a large part feel very superior to we country bumpkins in the middle and of course in Alaska.

Let's face it, Sarah Palin is a real American and like the rest of us she is solving "real American problems". That's all for the Hate America and Hate Palin Campaign. Their enemy is logic, reason and deductive thinking and this is what they see in Palin. Common Sense goes a long way.

Futhermore, I strongly feel that Bill Maher, should be terminated for his latest racist and incendiary remarks regarding Palin. Palin whose family includes indigenous peoples, Eskimo should be shown due respect. Maher of unknown origins has no right what so ever to make such comments from left field. Maher's free speech ends where the free speech of those he has insulted begins.

Maher would not make these comments about Herman Cain and white Presidential Candidates.

Furthermore Palin has not announced her candidacy for President.

HBO should fire the creep. Off with his air time.

Do the math. To the Right of Zero are the positive numbers +++++++ . To the left of Zero are the negative numbers on the number line------. Figure it out.

Last time I checked ALL the people of Alaska got a check for around $1100 each as their dividend share from the royalties that gas and oil production created there.

This was due nearly to Palin alone. All the other "politicians" (ie: crooks, political parasites, career office holders) did little or nothing to support
that cause. They all wanted that money to go into the states general fund so they could waste it on another jet or bridge to nowhere.

Gee....lets think a minute here.....maybe...just maybe she'd be a good candidate for congress. She hates the good ol' boy network, she despises and exposes graft and waste, she's driven by honsety and she's hot. (the she's hot thing is really not a reason to vote for her but hey...I'm just sayin')

As for all the decorative, snooty, cosmopolitian city bitches...get over it.

Don't forget how quickly the enlightened, open minded, equality for all liberals became foaming at the mouth racist bigots over Clarence Thomas.

I really like her and bought and read her book, I also don't see why everybody hates her so much, she's accomplished a lot in her time

And the royalties going back to the people was also a good deal for the people of Alaska, when our son was stationed there in the Army it sure helped out alot, but it wasn't enough to convince his wife from New Mexico to like the cold winters, they have 5 boys, they didn't need anymore long winter nights

Is Ralph Nader calling for 'terra firma' (the solid ground you stand on) or is he concerned about funding his retirement years in CT?

At any rate Ralph has called attention to Palin's Ohio speech and actually praised her handling of 'Oil in Alaska'. He also expressed that Palin is smarter that she gets credit for being. This from 'personallibertyalerts', Bob Livingston.

Ralph Nader? Yep. Will this be a call for environmentalists to stand behind Palin if she runs? Odd eh?

I want to see Sarah Palin register as a Democrat and run against Obama in the Democratic primary. She is one who could pull it off. How many would switch over to the Democratic primary to vote for her? Pull the same type of shenanigans that the Democrats do with the Republicans! That would make the primary season interesting....and she just might win the primary.

Palin is the reason we have Obama. McCain gave the election to Obama, what a fool
he turned out to be. Almost as bad as Carter "Mr Peanut", the dumbest engineer I ever had the chance to vote for!

Mccain is the reason we have Obama. He picked Palin because his campaign was going downhill. The vice presidential pick has little to do with the final vote anyway.

McCain was nothing more that Democrat Lite. His milk toast approach to campaigning got his ass handed to him. Plus his campaign "managment team" kept a muzzle on Palin. If they'd turned her loose on that bunch of socialists
the outcome might have been different.

I knew right away when he was campaigning in Cincinnati and Cunningham did the lead-in and called Barry by his full name "Barrock Hussein Obama" and then introduced John and when McCain came out and apolojized for Cunninghams' use of BHOs' full name that this was the starting to circle the drain.

Republicans better have a more serious contender this time around.
