    Canadian shooters are buying the U.S.Dollar for a lot less than they have purchased it in at least 30 years. I have paid as much as 50 cents for $1. US dollar.This year 6 cents.More dancing girls.
    Options : Stay Home or go shooting.Your choice.
    My theory is that there is only one Grand American.Would not want to miss Illinois State hospitality.

    With that I would have to add say another $1000.00 to $1500.00 so you have some room to play. You will find something you want or HAVE TO HAVE.

    Cost to go to the Grand?

    Gas - $400.00

    Entry Fees (w/ options) - $2,000.00

    Shells - $750.00

    Having the opportunity to shoot 2,800 targets in 13 days at the Grand American - Priceless

    Are you kidding? I am not going to sleep at all this week in great anticipation of being able to leave on Saturday for Sparta. I can't wait!!

    If you want my Spread sheet for the entry fees, send me an e-mail and I will forward. I am shooting two days for sure right now and my entry fee alone will be $242.00 for 4 events.

    We have a squad of SCTP shooters from northern California going. We are all very excited and the kids are having sleepless nights over it. Of course the coaches and parents are kicking back and not letting this experience bother them at all. Heck--just another day for the parent.

    Flight= $461 each
    Room= $71 a night per.
    Van= $736 week/unlimited milage
    Fees= SCTP rate/ammunition Win.AA
    Food= For five teenage males????
    Charlie Daniels Concert x five.
    The Angels Gun Club in Calaveras Co. has really stepped-up for all of the kids in the program and has picked up most of the cost to send the squad to the nationals. Additional funding from business and personal donations. I want to openly thank the gun club members and head coach Dave Ver Halen for all that they are doing.
