We figured it about six months ago at $2.50 - $3.00 per round. That covers the targets and the electricity, using volunteer labor. We charge public shooters $5.00 per round or 4 rounds for $16.00.

About $3.77 for targets and operating expenses with another $10,000 in dues being set aside for reserve funds. If the reserve funds had to come from target sales, about $4.50. This is based on 14,000 rounds on our 4 trap and 1 skeet fields. Our ATA shoots will account for 45% of the rounds we will throw. We own our land so we have no costs there except for taxes.

We have been able to grow our ATA targets from 20,000 in 2006 to a projected 120,000+ this year. Without that growth, our costs would be over $5.00 per round.
