    The cost calculator only considers the cost of the components less the hulls. It does not consider other direct costs, the indirect costs, or the opportunity costs. These can be significant.

    Pat was funn'in with you. We would all be better off (financially) flipping burgers at Burger World and investing in junk bonds.

    Cost of guns, ammo, reloaders, supplies, club dues, practice targets, shoot fees, meals, booze (to deaden the pain), gun safes, insurance, lessons, clothes, fuel, vehicles big enough to carry all our crap, hotels, motor homes, lot fees, storage fees (for motor home), marriage counseling, etc make this a really dumb thing to do. Then there are those numb-skulls who piss away time as volunteers at the local club, run matches, etc etc. Finally, we have the people who give shells and/or equipment to Juniors to encourage them to join this "fun". These geniuses have no possible way to realize a return on their investment.
