Our GMV Super Star trap makes a horible skreeching noise when it cocks. It appears to be comming from the base of the target magazine or the target elevators. I don't think the grease we are using is the right stuff. Specifically, what type and brand of grease do you use and recomend? Thanks in advance....Jerry P. Felice

Its probably the elevator squeaking. You just need to put grease on the side of the elevator that the tab rubs on.And the cam.

To elaborate on Sonny's comments: there is a spring loaded plunger made out of a hard plastic that engages the elevator. This plunger puts pressure on the elevator. Apply a small amount of grease to the track the plunger leaves on the elevator, your problem should go away.
