LOOKING FOR THE CORRECT 366 POWDER BUSHING FOR 16GR.OF PROMO. I'M WELL AWARE OF THE DIFFERENCE IN WIEGHTS PER CONTAINER, SO CLOSE IS GOOD. 432 PUTS OUT 17-17.5...

HOW ABOUT 7/8 OZ. OF 8??

Doubt that you will get much response due to variations from lot to lot plus not many people operate their 366s exactly the same, ie. vibration--handle speed-- brand of hulls--etc. also some use the re-size station & some don't, many variables, best way is try different bushings in your machine with your procedure and weigh several drops to get a good average. According to my records my # 415 dropped 16 grains of Promo from lot #042. Last lot I had was a #050 but I never dropped any using that bushing. Not sure what the current lot number is or how close the weight will be but it should be a place to start.

Hornaday bushings go u and down in three's like you have a 432 next size up is 435 the next size down is 429. Chipking said a 415 threw 16 grains of the lot he was using. thats a good place to start. If i was you I would order a 409 412 415 418 421 one of those five should throw the 16 grains you are looking for. and you should have the correct one on hand when lots change. You still will need to weigh and get an average. just because a book, or somebody says xxx bushing will drop xx grains, there are to many variables. I can almost promiss you you wont drop the same. Ive used 366 loaders for over 30 years. i been as many as 5 bushing sizes differance to get what is published.

I would try a #420 bushing and go from there.

    Currently I'm dropping 17.3-17.5gr in a 435 for 7/8 oz. Crono +/- 1250fps.

I agree that 420 or 423 is about the right place to start. Now, I'm just starting to go down on 7/8oz Promo loads, not 100% convinced that you will get good, clean burn at 16.0 range on Promo.

I'd target more like 16.5gr or I'd e-Mail Ben at Alliant for approval.

I think you might be better off with Extra Light at 16gr or less..
