Looking to replace (18 were recently stolen) some nice
condition working decoys. Prefer cork "blacks and mallards".
L.L. Bean corks would be great. Will consider others. Please,
I'm not interested in plastic or rubber decoys. I'm not
looking for antique hand carved wood decoys either. I
need nice looking cork hunting decoys to gun over. Please
let me know what you may have, quanity and price. Thankyou.

    MIA,
Living uphere in New England, we are used to hunting over Bean "corks".
They were made with a low profile and were contoured near perfectly.
They ride the water better than any other decoys I tried. I have some Herters
cork Mallards and they work OK, but you'll notice a distinct difference in
how they sit and roll. Good but not great!
Some SOB stole 2 bags (18) of my nicest decoys. My fault for leaving them so
accessible. I was hoping to find some replacements soon. If I do hear of more than I need I'll let you know. If you locate some please let me know.
    Thanks again,

    MAP

Did you mark them? I had 2 dozen real geese lifted from the back my truck. I put my initials in white marker on the bot of all my dekes now, and mark them with a hidden ID so I can identify them. If the jerk sells them, how do you prove their yours?
