Could someone please upload an image of this years Indiana State Pin. I can't help but pick it up every time that I walk by it.

It is the coolest pin in the collection!

I want to thank the designer...we'll be back in 2010 to see what's next?

Somehow a scan of the actual pin just doesn't do it justice. Looks better in real life. Maybe someone can do a better job with their pin.

A person wearing one of these in public could be charged with impersonating a trap shooter.

    Nice pin

That's the same pin design used last year, same prez, differnet year on it. I prefer the year before with the state and banner.

I still have mine laying on my desk. I thought it was one of the nicer ones. I always enjoy shooting there. Have had some memorable trips with my son there. But that can be a different thread. Birdtracker

Thanks Bill - I agree it's more impressive in person!

I wonder if 320090T could post an image of 2008...

What do some of the other states look like?

    Thank you,

Is there a specific purpose that the president's name is on the pins?

When I got put in charge of the pins (same time as the programs -- at least I could get 1/2 of my job right!), we had a very "plain" pin. George Weikum in IL showed me the IL State pin and I was impressed. He gave me the contact info for the company and the rest is history. I wish I could claim the idea for the two deigns we have done (03 was one design, I changed mine in 08), but the company submitted three designs and we chose the best. The Prez name was added after seeing the IL pin -- gives it a little more "originality" from year to year instead of just changing the year and color scheme. Plus, it is an honor thing -- for serving on the board 9 years you get the following perks - free golf cart and RV spot each year and a belt buckle for the year we are Prez. No money, no gun (.....), etc. So it was a little "stroking of ego" decision also. "Don't cost no extra" as they say down here near the Kentucky border....

The company we use is Wincraft. Pretty decent prices and they don't charge to work up the art.

Thanks John, I'll pass the company along with some subtle hints for change down here.
