Who would be the right folks to convert a left-hand 12 gauge Remington 1100 to 16 gauge ?

    No practical reason.

Just something I've wanted to have since I saw my first left-hand Remington 1100 too many years ago.

I'll bet Simmons could do it. And I'll bet you're not going to like the price. I would guess the cost would be somewhere b/w $500 and $1k to have it done, assuming you send them a complete functioning gun to work from. A lot of modification and fabrication would be involved.

    $1,000 would not be unreasonable.
