Conservation officer arrests six for poaching

GREENWOOD TWP. -- Six men including five illegal aliens were arrested for illegally killing two deer in Greenwood Township.

Lt. David Malloch of the MIchigan Department of Natural Resources said an investigation into the Nov. 19 incident is continuing.

He said Conservation Officer John Borkovich was patrolling in the area when he heard what sounded like rifle shots. It is not legal to hunt deer in St. Clair County and southern Michigan with a rifle.

"He came across a hunter who advised him he had seen hunters walking in the direction of the shots," Malloch said.

Borkovich then located two men in full camouflage, both of whom had centerfire rifles. After securing those rifles, a .300 Winchester magnum that was mounted on a bipod, and a .270, the conservation officer learned there were four more men in the party hunting deer. He rounded up all six and called for backup.

Five of the men were illegal aliens in possession of firearms. Five did not have hunting licenses and were not wearing hunter's orange, Malloch said.

Two of the illegal aliens had outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants, he said.

The conservation officer found that two deer had been taken. He also found turkey decoys, litter and body armor.

And they want to give those asswipes amnesty!!!! Lock them up in a 6x8 cell for 24 hrs a day for the next 10 years and feed them when we feel like it, maybe then they wouldnt be so keen on violating our borders, better yet, treat them the same way THEIR country treats Illegals.

Don't you guys know laws don't apply to illegals. Sorry, I meant to say undocument aliens. I'm probably in more crap for calling them illegal, than what they did.
