Earl just called to say that he won 1st place in his yardage group at the Florida State Shoot today. He shot a 21-21-25-25 and tied, then won the shoot off. This is also his first 50 straight in handicap.

    Congratulations, Earl!

And thats really saying something, given that the wind blew harder during the handicap than it did all day. Must have blown about 15 to 20 all day and kicked up to about 25 or 30 for the caps lol.

    Sincerely, Osker Reynolds

gridlock - Yes, they are one in the same. Earl had the most unbelievable Kolar trap gun 3-4 years ago. We were at the practice trap at Elysburg. He said, "Here, shoot my gun". I hardly knew him, and politely declined. He finally talked me into it, using HIS shells and HIS practice trap ticket! What a guy. Good job there S & M!

Yes, Earl and his wife, Sandy, are good people and good friends.

Earl, I hope you took me seriously about the Southwest Grand. Otherwise, I don't think I'll get to see you until Sparta. Bring Sandy to one of these!

You can pack it in your suitcase and check it. Otherwise you will have to ship it home or find somebody at the Dollar that is driving their RV back up north.
