So fill us in what did he do I thought he had a decent gun in the past so what was he shooting at the time of his good shooting.

Sure hope it wasn't a P gun rather it to be a B gun.

I think I heard before he might be getting an I gun is this correct.

    Anyway good shoting thar JOHN!!!!

Really Lori, you can't just post something like that and leave the rest of us in the dark! LoL (thought you were coming up here this weekend).

    So, what did John do?

John posted up a 95 to tie for Champion at the North Hollywood shoot today and then won the shootoff. It was a great day except for the sun sneaking behind passing clouds making seeing the birds a bit of a challenge so that 95 was a good days work.

When I first started shooting, John was one of the first guys to welcome me to the sport and act as a mentor. I also bought the BT 99 Plus from him that has served me well. He is a true gentleman and one of the sports best ambassadors.

His delightful twin girls keep him from shooting as much as he would like but I think he considers that a fair trade.

So, I will add my congatulations for a well deserved punch.

Congrat's John, sounds like you really earned that punch yesterday.

Lori - not shooting, but I'm stopping by CC. If you're there, I'll find you.

    John, great shooting!

I was very new to the sport, but you took the time to seek me out when you came up to the Stockton Gun Club last year. A true gentleman, and good shooter. You deserve it all!

I think it's the new cowboy hat!! Great shooting yesterday, you might want to think about trading in the DT-10 for another BT-99.

    Hey John,

I'll sell back the BT 99 you sold me, for say, $500.00 plus your DT 10 with the factory stock.

Yep.....win a big handicap event, riding the high of a big win all the way home, and....."Honey take out the trash" when you walk in the door. The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.

    Way to go!!

You should remember me from when I sold custom rilfes built by Steve Hendry.
I am now deeply involved in trapshooting and associated with Ljutic.

You know, I wish you would just let SOB gloat on his own... We out here in the Santa Clarita Valley have to live with him now. I understand that he is having a banner put up across the soon to re-open 5 Fwy. It states something like: John Malcolm -- hotest shooter since the 5 Fwy closed". I sometimes travel with John to shoots and will now have to put my ear plugs in during the ride. Fred
