A couple of years ago I looked into having a concrete pad for my camping spot in Sparta. IDNR will only allow certain vendors to do this, and it must be done to IDNR's specifications. The cost was quite high at the time.

I just checked again, and it seems the economy has had made a difference in the current pricing.

I talked to a David Lake @ 618-824-6522, or lci@egyptian.net, he is an authorized vendor for pads. He made me a great deal, and is open to doing more. I have to have my plans in to him by the 10th of July, and it will be ready for the Grand.

If anyone has looked into this before, it is worth the look again.

    bbourdage,

Do you know about how much a sq ft for a 10x40? I tried to call the number you listed and didn't get an answer.

    Thanks. jake513

I am getting a little bigger pad, so I am not sure on the cost for that size, Figure around 1600 or so.
