1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I've seen original grips from Python at this price quite a few times.

Excuse my ignorance, but is there a particular reason why are they so expensive? I had 4 Pythons before, the one I shot regularly I put on an after market grip because the factory grip was not comfortable.

I sold all my Pythons with original grips, and I still have couple after market grips left because I thought I'm going to use them if I ever get another Python and I just can't shoot the factory grips.

TIA for enlighten me on this topic.

I'm with Steve W on this. The original Python grips don't fit my hands. I have a 1976 Python that was factory tuned with teh slickest trigger I have ever seen.

It had Hogue grips on it from about the first hour I owned it.

Why are they in demand? Because collectors want authenticity. And mint condition original Colt grips are hard to find. Why? Because they fit your hand so badly that most people replaced them before they even got out of the gun shop, then tossed them in a junk drawer where they got beat up.

    Doyal,

You are just too good to me. I did find the grips, although your offer is a little too low. Keep raising it and I'll tell you when to stop.

    Good seeing you yesterday!
