1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Its hard to judge if a person is serious or not without some kind of price attached to the gun.

I'd say $1150 to $1350 depending on how nice it is. Sounds like the upper end of that range.

I think pictures are needed. As far as I remember, Colt never made a Stainless gun until the Series 80's and later remake of the 70 Series.

I've been watching colt commanders lately on gunbroker. There was a jump in price due to Obama's shenanigans, but the prices are coming back down. They are selling at $850 and up for series 80's and $1150 and up for series 70's. I just looked at an enhanced series 80 ltwt cmmdr at the local gunshop. Used in near mint cond. It was $969 out the door with tax and fees. I offered a little less, but it had just been put out that day before. I would like a nice safe queen, blued from the 50's or 60's with a steel frame. I saw two that sold for less than $850. One looked like it was dragged on the road, and the other had a crack in the frame. Good luck on your sale.

That's a bargain if you live in "the peoples republic of Taxachusetts."
