This evening at work I received notification that my good friend Lynn Dinges passed away while in Nebraska last week on a visit.

At the Delta Labor Day Shoot in September of this year I was given the opportunity to referee a shoot off between Lynn and Colorado's own Ken Seidel. After running a 100 straight Lynn, Ken and several others battled it out until all that were left were Lynn and Ken. It took a couple hundred targets before Ken finally dropped one and Lynn won! Lynn was delighted to have bested a great guy like Ken and Ken, always the good sport, didn't miss the chance to appropriatly congratulate Lynn. What a couple of class guys.

Lynn frequently shot with his friends Ray and the great John Kelly of Wyoming. I can remember laughing and joking with these guys in Wyoming and Montana as well as around many Colorado Clubs. Lynn's wife, Sylvia, often joined the group and added a touch of class to an already classy guy.

If you get a chance please don't hesitate to drop the Dinges family a card (address in the average book) or at least think good thoughts for them. The way I figure it God must have needed another good guy around heaven.

So long for now Lynn, you'll be missed for a long time to come.

    Your friend,

    Alex Ragulsky
