I was wondering just what the procedure is when sending a firearm to someone that is the holder of a Collector of Curios and Relics license? What age does the firearm have to be? And can I ship it direct or does it have to go through a FFL license.

    Thanks
    Jim

What doggai said. I have a C&R license and use it several times a year. Just be sure you have a signed copy of the license for your records. I might add that not all guns need to adhere to the 50 years old rule. As long as they are on the acceptable list they can be newer than that. i.e. they have listed Winchester Model 12's, (the Y model). This would be an example of the exceptions. Ed
