-29F is cold in anybody's book.

Been to Chicago and Boston in the winter, for a southern Californian, that's COLD.

We just came back last week from my our friend's cabin in Running Springs, CA it's in the 30Fs, 10" of snow on the ground, beautiful.

Hard to imagine 90 minutes drove back home to Manhattan Beach, it's 72F. The money we saved on heater bills can buy a Perazzi every couple years. :)

Cold is -35 degrees with a 20-30 mph wind! I experienced that in Fargo North Dakota! Here in Central Indiana we now think it is cold when it goes below 20 degrees!

It was -23 in Northwest Iowa. If you were outside had to back up to "P" against a tree.

It's after 1 PM here in South Georgia and it has climbed up to 36 degrees from a low of 19. Supposed to be about the same for the next five days. I don't believe I will be fishing this week. I haven't seen this kind of weather here in many years. Jackie B.

17 here at Oxford Gun Club with NW winds gusting to 45mph. I was one of the nuts on the line trying to break those crazy fliers. Everyone in the club house seemed to enjoy the show from the window (on the warm side).

I wonder what Al Gore thinks of this weather? Must be hurting his $100,000 lecture schedule. Glenn

15 below Friday night, 6 below last night, predicting 10 below tonight here in Omaha. 12 inches of snow the week before Christmas, 18 inches Christmas week, 4 inches last night. I am running out of places to put the snow. Single digit highs all week, with below zero lows. Not supposed to get above zero late in the week. I am feeling like I am living in Minnesota again.

This must be caused by global warming. Yesterday one of their acolytes said that even if we get 50 years of colder weather, global warming is a "fact". On December 14th Al Gore said that the polar icecaps would be totally gone in 5-7 years. He dismissed as a local anomaly the fact that the ice caps are growing more than normal this winter.
