1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    CMP M-1

Anyone have any experience with the CMP? I've been looking at their M-1's. The descriptions are a little vague. I'm looking for a shooter, not a museum piece. Any input is appreciated.

Get the service grade best bang for the buck.I was at Camp Perry last year and hand picked a Service Grade and a Correct Grade. The late H&Rs and Springfields
are very good shooters with very little T.E.and M.E. At that time the offered some Service Grades with a new birch stock at the same price. They also had S.G.guns with a new walnut stock at a extra cost.

If you are a firearms safety instructor, range officer, been in the military, ect. you can buy without shooting a match.

    John,
Thanks for the response and information. I believe that I meet the requirements as I understand them. I will look at the service grades again.
