SHOOTERS NEED TO BE CAREFUL WITH A LOADED GUN WHEN IT AINT THIER TIME TO SHOOT AND NOT BE SWINGING AROUND TO YELL AT SCORE KEEPER AND SHOOTING INTO GROUND AT SHOOTER STANDING ON HIS RIGHT WITHIN A FEW FEET OF THE OTHERS SHOOTERS FEET!!! YOU SHOULD KEEP GUNS OPEN UNTIL ITS YOUR TIME TO SHOOT???

Get ready for the defenders of having a loaded gun any time they are standing on the pad...

I don't close my action until it is my turn to shoot. This way I don't disturb shooters on either side of me and there is no chance for a firearm discharge. It is our responsibility to keep this sport safe. Everyone should practice safe gun handling.

Sounds like 525KID might have been into the Jack Daniels a little early.

I've seen people do this when it IS their turn to shoot....its not safe gun handling, period. It has nothing to do with whether its their turn or not.

IF HE WANTS TO YELL Than it is his prerogative. We've had this discussion before. Most clubs state that you do NOT close your action until it IS your turn to shoot.

A "Close Call" is when you actually get shot and survive. Anything else is just alot of noise!

When did our schools quit teaching basic writing skills?

They were beat into me…with a narrow strip of wood precisely 12 inches long.

I have won several Annie Oakleys by letting my release get away from me. Works every time, by the time everyone has clean the crap out of their shorts, I have the money. LOL

I try to time my gun closing with the shot of the person to my left so I won't set off the mic. Sometimes when closing my Beretta 391 it will set off a target. Muzzle is always pointed downrange.
