Any truth to their claim of better eyesight by using the product or is it all just hype?

You can go to any Gen. Nutri. Vitamin store and by vision enhanceing products for less money. Exercises help a lot. I can not find my Reviene(?) eye exercise tape but I would swear by it.

I second John's vote for eye excercises. Excercizes have improved both my near AND far vision. I can see spin on a target if the lighting is right, and I can read without using cheaters.

I use Phil Kiner's eye chart. Talk to Phil about it.

Claroxan is advertised on American Rifleman but previous threads on trapshooters.com say it is all hype and a waste of money.

There is no clinical evidence that suggests Cloroxin will improve vision. Eye exercises can help you learn to concentrate your vision on a specific area, but they cannot affect actual focusing of the eye lens. This is accomplished by small smooth muscles in the eye and these muscles do not respond to either forceful exercise or endurance exercise.

Eye excersizes do not improve the lenses, but instead improve how the eyes work together, how the brain coordinates the two eyes, and how the brain balances the images from the central and peripheral areas of vision.

Pat, have you tried the thing from Phil? I have an eye excersize video that helped me to acquire a moving target more quickly, but I've been using Phil's chart for about 3 months now, and I am able to read those tiny labels on clothing tags again, and for about a year I needed drug store glasses to do so. I also use it just before I shoot, and I can tell you that I really do see the targets better. The only time I revert to poor close up vision is when I have had only a couple of hours of sleep.

I know I sound like a walking advertisement, but nobody is paying me. I'm just excited about my restored vision. Just try this method before discounting it.

Go to a General Nutrition Center and they will tell you what vitamins are best for eyes, I think it way bayberry. Again the eye exercises don't help you read. They help to acquire and track an item in space. A target

These excersizes help bifocal vision. They DO help you read small print. If you don't believe that, then slightly cross your eyes and see if you can read clearly. You can't.

These are not the typical excersizes that you see on those videos.

But you don't have to believe me. I've tried to help. The readers can take it or leave it. I know what it's done for me.

About as effective as wearing a lot of copper bracelets and putting magnets in your shoes.
