Thanks Zards, I tried calling him during the MO state shoot with no success. I'll get a card off today.

Cliff, what a swell guy and member of the MO Hall of Fame, and deservedly so.

    Get Well Cliff!

Zard, I haven't seen Cliff in several years. I think the last time was at the Nebraska State shoot. I am almost afraid to ask, but he and Eddie Schneider used to travel together and I know that Eddie had some pretty serious health issues himself. Can you enlighten me as to Eddie's situation.

I sure wish the best for Cliff. Always enjoyed visiting with him at the shoots. I think he and Eddie were featured at the Grand some years back.

Thanks for posting this info. Take care and shoot well.

    AA, you have a pm.

I met Cliff and his wife during my first or second trip to the Grand. They were extremely nice to me from day one. I've had a lot fun in the company of Cliff and Shirley. Even if Eddie, Bill Staub or someone put me up to something.lol

So how's Eddie? anyone know? The crappie were biting real good here at the Lake of the Ozarks this Spring so my bet is he was up and around for that.
    Hope so.

The CLL Lukemia is giving Eddie fits again. A year or so ago he had a procedure that prevented fluids from collecting in his lungs. Now it's collecting in his stomach. He's been back in the hospital a time or two to drain it and had to start back on chemo a couple of weeks ago. I haven't talked to him since he started the chemo because it takes him a week or so to feel better.

Terri and Jim (his daughter and son-in-law) have been there most of the year. When the weather calmed down this spring so that they could get on the lake to fish for crappie, they have. I haven't been home since before the Missouri State Shoot in May and haven't seen him since then. And truthfully, I've been really busy this summer and haven't talked to he or Ginny as much as I should.

Tommie Lee, thanks for the update on Cliff. Will be sending prayers and good thoughts to him and Shirley. I will try to keep all abreast on Pappa Eddie, but I don't get on here much except to post scores for the shoots that I'm cashiering, as most of you well know.

    Miss ya Tommie Lee.

Terribly sorry to hear that. I will always remember Cliff's great attitude. He shot well and enjoyed the game, the people and all even when he must have had a bad day. I will remember him by trying to be more like that.
