Ok I have a bunch of cleaning rods and accessories.

    All different makes and ages.

There seem to be at least 3 designs out there to keep in mind when buying brushes etc.

    Type I: metric M8 -1mm

These fit Marbles, Kleen bore, Hoppe's and tornado and have a typical thread OD of 0.308"

Type II: US 27 TPI 0.295 typ OD

    Sears, Outers, and
Old fashioned wood 3 pce rods

Type III US 27 TPI but 0.285" OD

    Parker Hale

What else is out there and what size are they?

I don't expect to be able to find parts for the Parker Hale as it is old
    regards

Well not to promote feebay but there is a guy that sells a cleaning kit on there for $12 It is kind of handy if you want to take to range. The main thing there is adapters in the kit to fit anything, The one for shot gun has 3 different threads in the same piece. It will go from 17cal to 12ga

It would be nice if all the threads rods be the same. I can never remember what brands I have.
