I purchased a Browning recoilless some years back and have shot it a couple of dozen rounds. Recently, it "froze" in a half open position. I assume it is dirty and needs cleaning. Back in 2005 there was someone with the ID of Wisegunner who gave instructions on how to take it apart. I plan to follow them. Having said that I'd like to hear from Wisegunner or others who have had this issue and figured out how to clean this gun. Thanks Bill Reeder

Have you tried to download the manual from Browning's website? If you can't, try doing a search here using the "recoilless" in the search. Steve

Bill: This has been addressed about 4 times in the last six months and as recently as two weeks ago. My two cents. The owners manual recommends it be taken to a gunsmith for cleaning. Earl
