A classic used by many is 17.5 gr of Clays, Win primer, STS hull, 1 1/8 oz of shot, Rem fig 8s wad. Easy and neat reload. Great shooter. Very popular.

But it is up to the shooter to hit the target.

STS, Rem 1 oz wad, Cheddite primer, 17.5 Clays, 1 oz 8.5's. A cream puff, and turns targets to dust at the 16.

hodgdon does not list CB4100 (1oz) loads when fed 209 or 209A primers are used.
My personal best is STS hulls 1oz shot TGT12s wads Rem or Downrange primers depends on avalability locally . I prefer the Rem factory wads the stitching keeps the wad in place on the wad guide. Down range are very nice also, just not aval. local.

Presently using Clays 16.0gr, Fio 616/209, CB 1100-12, 1oz #8 in AA or STS; approx 1150fps. Easy on shoulder, deadly on target. Check Hodgdon data on-line.

Go To Hodgdon.com and visit there website for your load. If it is not listed as mentioned above. Call one of their tech support people, and get his advice to the load you want. That's what I would do. Good Luck and Break-em all. Jeff
