Ive put about 500 rounds of the claybuster TGT12 replacement wads through the loader and gun. 1. seems to be more plastic build up on my choke tubes. Factory invector plus flush mount, I had to run a brass brush on a drill to get clean. 2. I am getting more wad into shell hang ups on my mec 650. I have not the time to pattern yet. My supplier has not had Remington wads for some time.

    Mac',

I've never been satisfied with any of claybusters wads for the exact reasons that you gave! The only wad(s) that I have used that wasn't a Remington that gave the kind of performace that I was looking for came from Downrange. No one around my parts stock them so I just buy the Remingtons.

I may have to make a special trip to get Remington wads. Will be buying a case or 2 this time. My current supplier says his supplier no longer carrys Remington line, no wads no primers not even shells anymore. all estates rios and keymen or something like that. Kinda stinks I just got into reloading found a load i like to shoot used up supply or remington primers TGT12 wads clays powder and sts/nitro shells.

    Mac',

I'm pretty lucky in the fact that my local suppliers stock Remington componets. Primers have been a little scarce, but one of them just recieved 50 cases of Remington 209's. Let me know if you have problems locating what you need, I maybe able to help you out. Have you , by chance, tried Recobs, Connies, or Graf's. Paying a little for shipping may be better than a tank of gas.

I live in massachusetts getting anything shipped here is a pain. 20bucks hazmat and shipping can get me back and forth to where i could go. Plus if a do it right I get the wife to drive She can hit the outlet Mall around the corner.

    Bill,

I use TGT's for my 7/8oz, 1oz, and 1 1/8oz loads. Titewad for the 7/8oz and Titegroup for my 1oz and 1 1/8oz loads. This is one very versatile wad.
