A friend gave me 5,000 of these wads. I have Solo 1000 powder & Promo powder, STS hulls & Noble Sport primers. Have any of you had any experience with these wads & my combination of components? Thanks in advance. Tim Hall

Use them all the time for Skeet, 16 yd Trap, and 1st shot in Doubles. 8 1/2 for Trap, and 9s for Skeet pushed by 18.5gr Promo gets the job done WITHOUT high pressure! 18.5gr of Promo won't cause ANY problems with ANY primer in tapered hulls with these wads and 7/8oz of shot!

I am using that combo with Solo 1000. 17.8 grains of powder Cheddite primers and AA and STS hulls.
    And the rest Andy said.

I agree with goose2. I just shot through 1000 of the CB4100 wads using STS hulls, CCI primers and 17 grains of 700x. It took me over an our to get all of the plastic fouling out of the barrel. I went to the CB4100 from the CB1100-12 which gave me zero fouling but dished crimps.

I just order 5000 Downrange XL-1 wads from thirdgenerationshooting supply for just over $8 a bag and $5 for shipping.

The Claybuster CB 0178-12 is a direct replacement to Winchesters WAA12L. Claybuster says to use the loading instructions data for the WAA12L, when using the CB 0178-12 replacement.

I use them all the time. Their performance is pretty much the same as the WAA12L, including the stiffness I can feel when the shell is fired. They are not as soft-shooting as Windjammers, but the CB performs very well. Inkblots!!!!

On overbored bbls I have got plastic buildup ahead of the chamber and in the choke area.WD40 or paint thinner will take it out with a little brushing. On my Ljutic they don't seem to build up. They do break targets well. Good luck, Joe
