was kicking this around last night with our newest ATA shooter at the club.
He went to a shoot that had a small turn out. They reduced it to 3 classes A, B C. now he is a D class shooter. What he did not understand. He was told that all higher end A class in A. all lower A average and high B in B. everyone else in C. His question is why there is not sometype of handicap system when classes are bunched together? As in golf as you are given X amount of strokes over your lower handicap competitor?

    Good idea.

We'll need a monitor at each shoot and everyone will need to present their card so as to have the targets added or eliminated.

Instead of adding yardage for shooting well, just take away targets....I like it!!

If they only have 3 classes then "C" is as low as it gets. Whaz'ee expect? Does he think he should be put in a class all by himself so's he can win his class?

He exspected nothing, just a idea? It does seem a bit lop sided if a D shooter has to shoot up against a B shooter?
