Was looking at new butt stocks online and saw one for Citori "Special" Trap and the other for "Conventional" Trap. Look the same, cost the same. Can anyone tell me the difference?

I think the conventional trap was a long tang stock and the Special Trap is a non-tang style..the comb height is a little higher too on the Special trap to match the slightly higher rib...what type Citori are you looking to replace the wood on?..If you're not sure post some pix here and somebody will surely know

Be aware that there are 3 or 4 series of Citoris over the years. Not all stocks are interchangeable. Marc
