citori serial no. question

    Would like some help with a browning serial no. xxxxxpm143. Cannot find what the 143 denotes. Thx in advance. I believe it is a 1980 citori, the grade is what I am unsure of.

    143 means that it is a Citori trap with a monte carlo stock. see link above. Mark

    Now that we know it is a citori trap how do you determine what grade it is?

    The receiver is nickel and engraved with geese an the left side, a pheasant on the right and a quail and dog on point in front of the trigger guard.

    Go to Google and type in Citori Trap Grade VI images, and see if they look like your gun. I found one in the trapshooters archives. If not, try searching different grades. Mark

    Found a post from may 2012 with pics. My gun is a grade 2 w full engraving. Thx. no powder
