If you could get a good deal on a Citori Plus combo, would you prefer that to the new XT combo? Why or why not?

I've shot both for a long time and prefer the Plus. If the recoil mech. is still the original Browning plan on spending another $100 for a Timney replacement. You won't regret it.

If you get a good deal on the plus- I would go with it- Timney did make a replacement recoil mech- not sure it is that inexpensive but maybe

You have to define "good deal" though and if it is a combo I would say a good deal might be 1500-1600 if everything looks good and is in mechanically perfect order

I had a friend that had one of these and liked it

also JS air cushion can convert it to air cushion-

    regards from Iowa

I have one for sale now on Gunbroker. I hate to get rid of it. I started shooting the Plus guns years ago, and havent owned another O/U since. Steve
